What's in a domain name?

If
you’ve just built a website, or your current site isn’t attracting
the business you had hoped for, you need to ensure you are effectively
marketing your website (and therefore your company) offline. You should
include your website address on as many of the following as you can:
Stationary & your Office
- On business cards
- On email signatures
- On letterhead, envelopes, with complements slips, fax cover sheets
& any other stationary your company has
- On your invoices
- In brochures or fliers about your products or services
- In your voicemail messages
- In your company’s newsletter (printed or electronic)
Advertising
- In print ads
- On your shop front
- In radio advertisements
- In Yellow Pages advertisements
- In business directories
- In trade publications
- In other company's newsletters eg: suppliers, customers, distributors
Promotional Items
- On fridge magnets
- On product packaging
- Postcards to your customers
- On promotional products such as caps, mugs and towels
The more opportunities you give potential clients to know you have a
website, the more likely it is that they will visit it. If your website
is well designed - this should mean more sales! |
