Some high-level guidelines for internet copywriting include:

• Short sentences and paragraphs (maximum of three sentences). Write half the words you would use for printed documentation.
  
  
• Try to incorporate key words for search engines in your text.
  
  
• Include references to your company’s membership of relevant industry organisations, accreditations, awards and qualifications. These all add credibility to your company.
  
  
• Use sub-headings, bullet points or numbered lists to break up text.
  Avoid jargon.
